
Red Cabbage Casserole

- 335 g pickled red cabbage
- 300 g ground beef
- 500 g potatoes
- 70 g butter
- 100 ml milk
- salt
- pepper
- 5 ml onion powder
- 5 ml garlic powder
- 5 ml paprika powder
- 20 g breadcrumbs
- 1Peel and boil the potatoes until they are fully cooked.
- 2Brown the ground beef in a pan and add the onion powder, garlic powder, paprika powder, and some salt and pepper.
- 3Heat the milk in the microwave or in a small saucepan.
- 4Mash the potatoes into a purée and add half of the butter, then the milk, salt, and pepper. Mix well until you have a smooth mashed potato.
- 5Grease an oven dish with some butter and add the ground beef to the dish.
- 6Layer the red cabbage on top of the ground beef, followed by the mashed potatoes. Sprinkle the breadcrumbs on top and distribute the remaining butter.
- 7Bake in the oven for 40 minutes at 180°C.
